i've survived yet another grammy wknd .
the action started thursday night & officially ended at 5am this morning .
i didn't watch the actual awards show , but i did see justice at the belvedere party . . . & stood by with jurnee & solange while janelle jumped in a swimming pool then climbed a tree at the mondrian hotel . . . & laughed while lil jon did a duet with andy milonaki during pete rock's dj set at paramount studios . . . & made a 3am run to roscoes for an after hours game night with questo , talib , saul , dj rashida , & company . . . & did an acoustic set with d'leau & thundercat for garth trinidad's urban alternative grammy celebration brunch . . . & dj'd a late night party in the hills while naked girls in powder white afros got "sharpie" tattoo'd . . . & got caught in the rain while walking up to the red carpet at russell simmons' post-grammy party . . . & rang in monday morning with "easy rider" , vintage psych rock , & classic hiphop at my fave party of the entire wknd , the mars volta grammy celebration at ced's trippy house near the beach .
it's just past 4pm & i'm still in bed . the rain outside my window is slowly turning to sunshine . i'm attempting to return to normal . the insomniac is gone . . . for now .
